I have returned

Whelp, I did say three weeks. So… I’m back.

But that’s not all I want to say right now because, TBH, you don’t actually read my blogs to know about my life and stuff (even if you read them at all). You wanna hear about updates for “Guardians of Harmony”, and so do I.

Writing for me has become nearly impossible with the amount of responsibilities I’ve had, and my current chapter has been met by a big blockage, and I’m trying to figure out how to bypass it. It’s been a frustratingly slow process, made even more frustrating for the lack of a proof-reader or someone to help me bounce ideas around. It is coming, but in a slow pace.

For that matter, I also have a slight creative problem. I have planned a lot of the future chapters of the story, but only ones that introduce key elements to the plot or to my lore, and having so many of them one after the other would break my suspension of disbelief. So, to fix that problem, I’d have to tap on the dreaded realm of… filler.

Just like in the Power Ranger show (early seasons), there were a bunch of episode that didn’t really move the story forward, but that did offer some sort of character development for the cast. I want to emulate that same feeling in a few other chapters, but I don’t know what to make these chapters about.

So, why not ask someone else? Who? You! I’m gonna start a submission box for any ideas for chapters that will serve as the extra chapters for my story. I’ll be damn sure to properly credit you for your idea. Keep your eyes open for when I post the rules for the contest (that means don’t send me anything yet).
