I'm sure you've got your reasons, Geon, but I don't think anyone in this community is in any position to hate anyone else, unless they're overt trolls or something.
Like, I don't think someone like you would hate on someone without good reason, but a lot of people like him, on a personal level, and I think there's probably reason behind that.
A lot of people don't like the folks at EQD, but the truth of the matter is that most of their failings come from being overtired or a lack of technical knowhow, and they are mostly pretty decent guys.
If you're going to do a blog post about why you hate another brony, be sure to be fair in your judgments. Thatway, you will be the better man.

That second point is pretty damn rough, but the third is called smack talk. It's not fun but it's not unusual either. I mean, there's a chance I'm wrong, seeing as I don't know the whole story, but some people do smack talk pretty rough, but I don't know anyone who means anything by it.

You know what, let me explain something about myself for a minute here.
Can I be cruel at times? Yep. Can I be vengeful? Certainly. Do some things make my insides boil and really piss me off? You bet.
But one thing that I always try to keep true, is that I'm level headed.
It tends to make me seem callous and uncaring, like I think other people's problems are just trivial and that I don't really have any empathy. But that's not true.
I just know that there's two sides to every story, and that, even if they're not so good, everyone has their reasons for what they do. I've lived by that philosophy since I was very young, and it's given me a very unique perspective on life. I don't see anything as good or evil anymore, and I tend to get frustrated when people do.
I'm just letting you know that I'm not blind to your feelings. But from what you've told me, I bet that what seemed like a malicious attack to you, was little more than a spur-of-the moment joke and maybe some bad judgement for him.
But, I guess I'll see when I hear the whole story.

Like I said, be fair. Don't explain your opinion, or how mean or nice anyone was being, just exactly what happened (on both ends) and your feelings. And explain that you're telling us your feelings when you do so. People will be a lot less apt to judge if you are fair to both sides.
They may blindly defend him still, but very few people (if any) will directly spite you for your stance if they know the whole truth. It may not be as relieving to tell that way, but I'll bet you that the response will be more positive, and you'll probably feel better just having your friends support you.
And as far as the fundraiser thing, I'll definitely look into it next week sometime. I'd do it this week but I don't have a moment to breathe.
