A friend of mine here, Raymanguy, is having problems with the new changes here. I think it's the color scheme. He says that he gets a headache whenever he tries to view the site. So I went looking for a program on Google Chrome, since that's the browser he uses to view the site. Ran through a few headaches, but I found this prog:
Here are the steps you take.
1. Download that program.
2. After you download that, go to more tools > extensions. Locate Change Colors. Pick options.
3. Make sure background color is black and text color is white, or any other variation that allows you to see.
4. Don't click on the FIMFiction tab just yet. In fact, after you set the options as I've told you, shrink the browser so low that none of the page content can be seen.
5. Click on the FIMFiction tab.
6. You'll see the change color icon somewhere. Mine is inside the website url bar to the far right. Click it, then click "Override on this domain".
This should fix your problem.
This is not a perfect solution, but this should make the site viewable for you.

Friend of mine got bad headaches looking at the site when a series of new changes were made. Now he can view the site only if it looks like that.
