Outlines!...but not much else. · 9:36pm Oct 16th, 2014
So, I have a good thing going in that I have a least three stories oulines for Stories From the Grave. Maybe four if I include the one I had originally meant to start out the little collection.
the (perpetually) sad part? Still no real motivation yet to write them out, or what I have for Harmony's Remnant, or even the three main/big (or huge, in one case) non-pony (or slightly pony-linked, for The God Complex(ity)) stories. That, or I'm just really trying to put them off and be in denial. Although, in the case of Complex(ity), I honestly still need to do some more fleshing out of some of the god-touched species, and/or reorganizing things to be within the Equestrian planet if I want to make the story stay entirely on that planet. I might still be able to do that, I think. We'll see.
Stories From the Grave will probably still be the second story I publish on fimfiction, and I think there's potential for that to have it's own little universe if it hasn't been done before (which would be so cool :rainbowsquee:). If I could just sit myself down and completely write out all three/four stories into chapters worth sending to potential pre-readers, and work on the last one or two stories to give a more complete idea of how things'll run in the story (along with either an appendix of stuff or a blogpost to cover the rest) after that, that'd be nice. If I could.
Or I'll just complain about myself in a public setting. Whateva works.
TL;DR: So many outlines, not enough outlines translated to actual chapters and stories. Or gifted to other writers. I could do that...
Hey, sometimes it just come down to sitting down and doing it.
I know it sounds cliché but it's true. best way to write is just to write.
I'll be glad to pre read anything you want me too, it's the least I can do to pay you back.
