So, still banned from my other community for the pony, but every so often some news comes along that's so unexpected that it puts you in one hell of a good mood 
Just got an email from youtube;
Good news! Universal Pictures (ZEFR) has just released their copyright claim on your YouTube video.

I had no idea it'd even been claimed against as I never monetized my pmvs (always seemed a bit dodgy that) and as I made them three years ago when I very first got into the pony I barely think about them. Fanfic took over all that creative energy in regard to the pony and I've had a half completed video based on the Wombat's My First Wedding sitting around for years (shame, I still think the ending I came up with Twilight getting blasted away with the love magic is hilarious).
It's all not that good a pmv really. Incredibly half-arsed attempts at lip syncing, certainly not amazing timings, ponies speaking when there is no speaking and other sins of the inexperienced vid maker. Still, I will admit Ray Charles being played by Rarity is moderately inspired 
The other ones I did back in the day are way better anyway.
As you can tell from this my love for Twixie came very, very early. Such a bloody wonderful film and yeah I totally started doing pmvs by just picking my favourite films to adapt. Alas, I moved onto anime before I got round to doing The Usual Suspects.
Speaking of anime this inadvertently became the inspiration for Random Elements for reasons that will become clear at the end. Yes, it really did start here.
Nightmare Fury, Nightmare Fury, nope... I'm sure it's a reference to a pretty good classic fanfic from way back in the day, but I forget the name of it. Man, that banner took ages, you don't even know. This actually got a single post on EqD devoted to it which I think proves conclusively that pmv makers have it so much easier than fic writers when it came to those guys.
And finally the pmv that got pretty damn close to 10,000 views which is just bonkers.
Yep, that eternal is spelled wrong on the title flash still bugs me even three years later. Special no-prize goes to anyone who can match up every pony to each Hellsing character featured in the video (yes, including Dash and Applejack!) without looking at the description on youtube.
Hope you didn't mind me taking a little trip down pony fandom memory lane, but that email really set off a nostalgia bomb in this ol' head of mine.

Hey, I saw those a while back. (My immediate thought on Clue was "Gee, why am I not surprised Twilight and Trixie are in those roles?"
) Fun work. Blues Brothers needs more ponification, too.
