An episode I actually want to talk about · 1:37pm Sep 24th, 2017
Spoilers for yesterday's episode in Health of Information follow.
To take up space for those who haven't seen it yet. Hi, been awhile! Thanks for the follow and sorry I quit out on you arguably making it to still be so pretty pointless really. Well not to those still pissy about All for You who are still looking to have a go even now years later as they can sod right off.
Been going lukewarm on the ponies I must admit. I closed down my long running where I watch at the end of last season and quit the forum which was the only place I was still talking about the show a while back for unrelated reasons. The spark that drove me to make AMVs and write 50k+ word stories has long dwindled almost out entirely.
Really the show's just not been that worth talking about. I mean it's not what I'd call bad, but fine, if perhaps a bit uninspired. Perfectly serviceable way to spend 20 minutes. Fame and Misinformation was a bit of a dick move just not something to be all that fussed about.
Health of Information though... damn that was some next level dark for this show. Move over Fallout: Equestria, a new challenger approaches. Yes they tried to minimise it with Twilight not ever really reacting appropriately to the severity of the situation that is basically a nightmarish disease that warps you cordyceps style as it kills you to then infect others. Hell she was near going 'why you so upset, it's just a zebra after all. Not like that's a real pony' at times.
Sure it had some issues, but I'm still really impressed that they went there and to its credit it really got my attention in a good way, and the last time they managed that was the superb one with AJ's deceased parents earlier in the season.
Also damn Cattail just what did Twilight make you do that left you so traumatised?
Good to read from you, Stryke. :) Yes, Perfect Pear was friggin' awesome. And Fame and Misinformation was, IMHO, insulting. Hope you're doing all right.
Oh, good to see you posting again Stryke.
It's Twilight, I just assumed she got caught up in scientific curiosity to the point where it negated her natural tendency to freak out.
