Uncertain Future

Hey, everypony. Patriotic Pony, with an update on Tales.

As you all know, I've been kind of inactive lately. The last time I popped in, I was pretty cheerful and excited about the future of Tales. In fact, all but one of my posts over the past few months have been about good things. Alas, I'm afraid I've got some bad news.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to work on Tales like I used to, for the time being. A personal matter is getting out of hand, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to fix it soon or not. The fic's not on hiatus, but that doesn't mean I'm still going at it as often as before. If I don't get it sorted out soon, it may very well be put on hiatus. The same goes for any and all other fics I've been planning or considering.

Does this mean the revamp won't be done by Christmas? I'm not sure.
Does it have anything to do with Swift? Not at all! This is in no way his fault.
Does it have anything to do with college? Not really.
Will I still be writing? Yes, but not with the same energy I used to have.
Am I leaving the fandom? Probably not.
So Tales is safe, then? Unfortunately, no. I'm considering putting it on an indefinite hiatus, and if this thing doesn't get any better, I may very well pull the plug on it. So yes, there is a chance that I'll cancel Tales before the year ends.
Is everything okay? Not really, no.

I wish I could end on a positive note, but I can't really think of one right now. I'm sorry.
