Pat's Back!

Greetings, Fillies and Gentlecolts! Patriotic Pony here, with a bit of this and that.

First of all, Happy Hearthswarming and Happy New Year, everypony! I hope you all had a good holiday, and wish you all good fortune and fresh beginnings in the new year. Mine was absolutely amazing, and feel free to talk about yours in the comments below.

On an official note, I'm finally back to working on Tales once again. I have about a week before school starts again, but rest assured that I will not stop because of that. I plan on having Chapter Five ready to go to Swift within the week.

On a personal note, I'm okay. More than okay, actually. It turns out that due to a genetic chemical imbalance in my brain, I've been struggling with anxiety and depression for the past few years, and that it had become impossible for me to function in the last few months as a result. I have been diagnosed and medicated, and will be seeing a counselor to make sure everything stays well. But I can say will absolute certainty that I'm better than I have been in years, that my head's finally cleared and I can actually think straight. It's like the clouds have dispersed, and I can finally feel the warmth of the sun once again. I've been sleeping more regularly, my temper has disappeared, and I've managed to sort things out.

In short, Pat's back and feeling ten feet tall! Thank you all so much for staying with me to this point, and expect me to be more productive this year!
