I hope that when the world comes to an end, I can breathe a sigh of relief, because there will be so much to look forward to.

    A Year in (Movie) Review

Peppered throughout my stories are various references to films and movies, as I'm sure several of you guys noticed (A Dare's Truth has several ponified versions of movies, and Scootaloo and The Cabinet of Seers has a few references as well). I love movies - I go once, sometimes twice, a week to the local theater to see a new movie! It's gotten to the point where the Tuesday staffer recognizes me

The True Gift of Gifting (PS4 game giveaway)

    Happy December, everyone!

Recently, during some impulsive electrical repairs, a member of the family accidentally damaged my Playstation 4's power supply to the point where the console could only communicate via the slow steady pulsing blue light of death.

    Bronycon 2019

Well, like thousands of folks here, I will be attending Bronycon this year!

I had hoped to get a new chapter of Scoots and the Cab out to celebrate but it wasn't meant to be.

There are plenty of fanfiction panels at the convention, maybe I can learn a thing or two about timely writing and technique.

Fragments of fiction, and the validity of non-canon stories.

So, like many fans of the orange winged wonder, today was a momentous episode for Scootaloo. I teared up at a few moments, and although the episode was predictable, it was a feel-good episode that reaffirms just how special the Crusaders truly are.

    On Videogames and motivation

I'm reaching a tipping point with these videogames. I quite enjoy them, yes, and there is a massive disparity between the multitudes of games to play and the time available to play them. That's nothing new though; always has been, always will be.

Hey everybody,

I want to take this moment to apologize for the relative silence on my end regarding updates to my stories. I am still working on them, promise! I have all of the stories narrative outlines complete, I just need to sit down and write the darn things. I've gotten so familiar with the dialogue chains that I often have conversations with myself as the characters speaking to ensure that they flow well!

However, since my return from leave to visit my family, I've been incredibly busy. As a result, I've been incredibly fatigued. I get home on most days after physical training, I take a shower, put on my Rainbow Dash footie pajamas, and proceed to lay dormant on my bed while a movie or TV show plays in the background until I finally drift to sleep. That fatigue and busy schedule has left feeling a tad unmotivated to fire up my antique laptop and devote actual effort to think and write!

However, I received not one, but two chunks of inspiration and motivation. The two primary stories I've written, Scootaloo & The Cabinet of Seers, and The Play's The Thing, have been accepted and approved in the Twilight's Library Group! I'll be completely honest, I didn't have hope for Scootaloo, being that it was my first fiction and thus suffered from an unsavory amount of conventional and mechanical errors. I'm in the process of going back through and fixing up the ones I can find.

On it's initial review from Twilight's Library's contributors, Scootaloo was given a tentative "against", citing the aforementioned mistakes, but also the slow burning pacing of the story. As the story moved to the Reviewed - Rejected folder, I pretty much forgot about the story being in the group. However, early this week, one of the administrators of the library accepted the story into the library. While there will still some misgivings about the conventions, the slower pace was attributed to character development (which is what I had intended), and the story made it in for the merit of simply being an enjoyable read.

I'm very proud of this accomplishment, and I really want to update both Scootaloo & The Cabinet of Seers and The Play's The Thing in short order. Expect to see some movement soon!
