Regarding Shadow Wing in chapter (Fan Input Highly Encouraged) · 4:27am Oct 5th, 2014
In an attempt to add a little more depth to Shadows Wing's Character, there is a part in chapter 15 where he will reveal a secret about himself to Shining. This "secret" is something I've though about over the course of the year and a half I've been working on this story, but until now I've never found any reason to add it. However, this secret will may come off as either a great addition or complete added on betrayal to his character, so I'm not sure if I should add it.
I feel like it's important to take risk, but since I'm really attached to the "Big Brother" saga, I don't want to fuck it up.
So here's what I'll do. I'll hide the secret in five different spoiler tags, four of witch are red harrings to help hide the ture secret.

The problem with writing a one small chunk at a time is that you can't go back an properly foreshadow new ideas. I'm going to be having a long weekend next week, and will most likely finish the chapter and get it edited by the 14th at the latest. If any of these spoilers butt hurt you, you have till then to speak out against it should you figure out witch one is the true secret.
What is Shadow's secret?
I'll go with one of the 13 hybrids. It's the most unique to this particular story, and it has the appeal of being less cliche than several others on that list.
I'm liking the multiple secret concept so far. If you ask, I'm going with Is one of the 13 hybrids. Out of all you have, this one has a more interesting premise.

2508023 Unforchantly, that's probably one concept that I have the least amount of wiggle room to shoe horn in for several reasons. I can think of several plot holes that could create, like how Shadow kept his form even when he was poisond, or how he used echolation to help find the miners

2508103 They are two of the shows best characters. They complete each other. I thought the way the defeated the changelings was beautiful and epic as all hell!

Agreed! They're great characters and imo underrated in the fandom.
I hate to derail the posting but since you like them I wonder if you'd enjoy a story of mine featuring those two, Together Forever.
