It's Been Bad, I Can Tell · 8:54pm Oct 2nd, 2014
I can tell how my head-space is by the stories I write.
The happier I am, the happier (for values of "happy") I write my stories. Mind you, I find quite a few of my stories to be a touch on the grim side-mostly due to my personal opinions on most people. But, in general-happier writer=happer stories.
Current head-space? Something like about 12,000 words over the week of a Fall of Equestria story that can be summed up as "everypony involved is actively or passively involved-even without magic-into turning Equestria into a rape camp. Don't ask what the corrupting magic does to the Three Races, because I've been figuring it out and it's not nice at all."
I'm especially proud-for values of "proud"-what I've done with the CMC (magical fast maturation), the Mane 6, and Spike.
It probably will never see the light of day.
But, it has been written.
Sounds like your head-space was in a bad place. I hope your mood/situation/whatever's-ailin'-ya has improved and keeps improving.
2532964 Haven't responded to this because I haven't wanted to think about that story for a while.
The head space is better. Not by much, but I can at least see comedy now.
