Hey guys, I'm going to do something good.
Tomorrow (October 3rd) I'm going to be doing a charity livestream. Why? Because I want to do something actually good with my life. So I'm donating money to a local hospital. I'm doing this as part of the Extra Life charity event. All money goes directly to the hospital and I see none of it, so no need to worry about me stealing your money (if you decide to donate). All of the donations will go directly to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation, also known as the CHEO Foundation.
Time for some personal touches. I've decided to do this because as of late, I've really been questioning my life, everything I've done up to this point, and nothing has ended happily. So I want to change that, I want something I can tell others with a sense of pride. And this event brings a good twist to something I love, video games. And there's also a story behind why I chose CHEO, when I was younger, I almost died, I had something wrong with my digestive tract, and it ruined my body, almost killing me. And I was admitted to CHEO, from there they also found that my hemoglobin levels were dangerously low along with many other things wrong with me, I was in that hospital for months, and I came out of it feeling a lot better, hell, they saved my life. To this day I have them to thank for keeping me alive, even though I still have some issues that they found, such as my hemoglobin levels, I still have to monitor those. But over the years that hospital has been falling to the wayside because of the shitty policies of the local government. So I feel as a sort of thank you, this is the least I can do, and that hospital honestly needs it. It's saved many people I know. So I'm doing this from a personal perspective.
I set the charity goal to $100 because I'm not expecting anyone to donate, and if I don't reach that I can top it off myself. But as some motivation, I've donated $50 already, before the stream. So we're already half way to the goal.
Anyway, all that aside, here's the details.
The stream will be on my twitch page at 8 PM EST, -5 GMT.
You can donate on my Extra Life page, my real name is there, but I don't care, it's for a good cause.
Also, if we reach $150, I'll stay on the air for 24 hours, no breaks.
If you can't donate any money, don't worry about it, just popping into the stream and saying hi will be enough, I don't expect anyone to donate, but if you do, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Facedesk. What time will the charity/stream be going until? I get paid tomorrow [usually before 0900, through occasionally not until 1030] and would be able to donate a little bit.

If I did, I'd give you $$$$, maybe I'll be able to fit it in, but I doubt it. Sorry, I just felt it was better saying something than nothing.
