Day three of Stiggerzz's and my time in Sydney saw us headed to Hyde Park to once again meet up with Slorgy, Ausbrony, Autocharth, and many others for the second of two miniature events: PikaCon!

This one wasn't anywhere as large as SalvageCon was; all in all, about 150 bronies showed up, and there were no stalls, vendors, performances or anything of that nature. If anything, it was really just like a big meetup than anything else. It was a much more relaxed day out than the day before.

Things that happened:

Tackles and hugs everywhere
The ball pit made a re-appearance
Plushies came out to play (in some cases, literally)

Went to King's comic book store twice. The first time, Slorgy, Stiggerzz and I went by ourselves, where we picked up a decent amount of merch. I collected Pony Tales vol. #1 (the trade paperback version of the first 6 micro series comics rolled into one book), micro comic #7, and the 2014 Annual. Stiggerzz just bummed around a bit and Slorgy managed to pick up a copy of an extremely funny parody comic called My Little Phoneys: Fandom is Tragic. Was actually quite hilarious, and I suggest that many of you go out and find it, or read it online somewhere.
The second time, later in the afternoon, about 30 of us went, including one of the event organisers that was dressed in a full pony suit. The amount of people who stopped to stare as we walked through the busy Sydney streets was quite amusing, but nowhere near as amusing as when we all entered King's Comics again. A whole bunch of weirdos entering a comic shop? Who'd have thought?
Slorgy also picked up some black Rainbow Dash boxer shorts. Bastard.

Anyway, we had a really great time, and even though there were far less attractions overall than there would have been at Sydneigh, the weekend still felt like a resounding success. The community was amazing in pulling everything together on such ridiculously short notice. I'll be very sad to leave, knowing that I'll likely never see most of them again.

We finished with some Japanese food and some gelato (I had passionfruit sorbet because vegan), then headed back to our room.

I'm likely going to sleep sometime soon because, like yesterday, I am absolutely buggered.
I should be resuming regular actions in a couple of days. Thanks for being patient during my lack of activity and chapter updating.
