Sequel to Zot has been created.

As stated, I've also created the cover art , synopsis, and am a ways through the first chapter. I'm hoping to have it ready to publish by the end of the week but life is busy right now, so we shall see.

    But it is coming.

new story on the way · 10:23pm Sep 25th, 2014

With an ancient, magical horseshoe permanently stuck to her hoof by accident, Sweetie Belle's life is almost immediately turned upside down. She discovers her sister isn't the mare she thought she was. Her parents aren't who she thought they were, and that the key to unlocking everything is stuck to her hoof.

Now she and the Crusaders must venture deep into a forgotten underworld to try and remove the horseshoe from Sweetie's hoof, with the Mane Six protecting them. Unfortunately, they do not have long to accomplish this, as the key within the horseshoe is powered by the wearer's soul and as a filly, this leaves her only forty five days before her soul becomes trapped in the crystal forever.

The Ancient World, is awaiting approval.

(I like this story and am excited about writing it, it WILL be finished)
((Besides I've finished my Novel, just editing now and getting it ready for publshing))
(((Yay me!)))

I'm also considering doing a sequel to Zot, by creating an alternate ending. What think ye people?

Sequel would be great! :pinkiehappy:
...but what kind of alternate ending are we talking about ?
I personally hate it when author takes nice warm ending (like this one) and twists it into some 'desperation/betrayal/separation/all things vile' kind for sequel's sake to put characters in bad position in the start of sequel.
If you are going to make Asher hesitate, loose time and as a result stay at home instead of coming with her - I would say 'it's cliche' and be really disappointed. :twilightoops: Does not mean I will not read the sequel in that case, though. :pinkiehappy:

The clichedness was exactly why I went the other direction with the ending of Zot, originally I had intended for them to break up.

But now, I kind of want to write a sequal, just not sure where to start with it. :twilightblush:

I think you readers appreciated happy ending. I did for sure
As for sequel - it depends on what kind of story you are intending to write.
You can write direct sequel slice-of-life story about Asher trying to fit in Equestria and build a new life - while it would start like your typical hie, your level of writing is much above it and I think it would be very interesting to read to fans of the first story.
Or you can write adventure or adventure/slice of life in the same setting - Rarity's life as one of the elements is not tranquil at least. The adventure itself will be entertaining and It would be also interesting to see Asher adjusting to Poniville's madness, or rather how will they both adjust (Rarity spent a lot of time in another world - she would need time and a lot of efforts to get back to normal also, and she will need to put even more efforts because of her relationship with Asher).
You can write adventure on Earth by changing ending of the first part and leaving them both on in our world. Or even better - you can let them both to live in Equestria a bit and then throw them both back to earth during one of Rarity's adventures and have them travel to the other side of globe to find means to get back to Equestria  No, even better, you can throw them both back to earth in pony form and have them travel to other side of the globe to find mean to get back to Equestria :pinkiehappy: Or :pinkiegasp: you can throw Rarity to another world (not Earth) and have Asher go there and find her. :pinkiehappy:
I think I got carried away... :facehoof:
Anyway - what kind of sequel are you planning ?

While I'm still debating if I want to write a sequel to it in 1st or 3rd person. To be honest.

I had two ideas for it bouncing around my noggin, the first idea would let me write it in 3rd, as a typical try to fit in to equestria/new form while Rarity restarts her life/goes about her Element business/tries to maintain their relationship.

The second idea is another 1st person fic from the perspective of their child, years later, obviously. :raritywink:
