My last comment on this story was not intended to discourage anyone from commenting on it. I had intended it to be a variant of the Cupcakes story, and I have taken inspiration from other fan fictions for this story. But, if there are ideas I've presented in this fiction that you want to comment on, you are welcome to do so.
Is there an episode of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic that takes inspiration from a story from the Book of Mormon? If so, then let me know about it.
If you like my idea of transferring the elements from members of the Mane Six that can no longer hold them to new members, then let me know about it, and why. If, on the other hand, you don't, then let me know about it, and why.
Spoiler Alert (more or less): I don't have Pinkie Pie kill Rainbow Dash until the beginning of chapter 7, then Mormon apprehends her soon afterward. After chapter 5, do you think Mormon's being too lenient on Pinkie Pie? If so, then let me know about it. You may also let me know if you don't think so.
Finally, those of you who are sick of hearing about Pinkie Pie being horrid will, I think, appreciate Volume 2, where I explore Pinkie Pie being very very good. But, I won't be releasing that volume until I've released all the chapters in the first volume, including the Concluding Notes.

A 'religion' is defined as a cult by two things. Secret rite and secret doctrine. Mormon church has both.
Furthermore, towards the end of Revelations (which you guys use) there's a line about amending, abridging, or altering this text (the old testament + new testament) being unkosher.

And, as for Revelations, yes, we believe the Bible to be the word of God. We also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

I'm sorry for the ambiguity. If a "religion" has both secret rite and doctrine - which Mormonism does - it's a cult.

One great thing about living in America is that we're entitled to our opinions. You have your opinion of the Book of Mormon, and I have mine. And, I can inform you that I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and the religious record of a people that came to the Americas long before the Christ was born.
Having said that, I'm thinking you, with your strong opinion of the Book of Mormon, are going to find October an interesting month, and a real test to see if you want to keep my first fan fiction as one of your favorites.

Your misguided religious beliefs will not be the first or last Jossed by historical record; unless you claim that these Christian-before-Christ peoples were Inuit or Chinese.

It's difficult to make an accurate judgement on a story you haven't read yet. i have a few in my Read Later list that I haven't read yet, although I have heard narrations of some of them (Past Sins, Anthropology, Asylum) on Youtube.
When you get to my story, please feel free to ask questions about it, as well as offering opinions on what I did well, and what I could do better. I'll welcome the input.
In the mean time, considering alicorns are worshiped by ponies as deities, it seems to me that there's already a form of religion in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.

You know, I've been thinking. If the "Re-Jesusing in America," as you call it, is simply a work of fiction, then there should be no problems incorporating excerpts of it in my fan fics, as long as I treat it respectfully. On the other hand, if it is true, then as long as my purpose is for the glory of God and not for personal, monetary gain, including chapters and verses from it in my fan fics should make them better.
