Inspirations and Reasoning Behind My First Worst-Case Scenario Story · 2:29am Jul 29th, 2015
As more chapters of The Pegasa's Pizzeria are published, I hope no one will think I hate the character I've chosen; because, I don't. I was inspired to write my Hey, Batter! series about Pinkie Pie by Sergent Sprinkles' story Cupcakes, and I hope to inspire someone else to write a best-case scenario about the character I've chosen for the story, The Pegasa's Pizzeria. The villain I've chosen for the story will be revealed in Chapter 6, which I'll publish at the beginning of September. But first, there will be two ponies murdered in the two chapters leading into that one.
In the mean time, I have a challenge for my readers. My challenge, should you choose to accept, is to write an opposing best-case scenario based on my story, The Pegasa's Pizzeria. It'll be best to wait until early September when I publish Chapter 6 and reveal the villain.
It may interest you to know that I've based the villain of this story on a Book of Mormon villain. And, I'm sure, as time goes on, that you'll notice similarities between the pizzeria in this story and a pizzeria from a video game, that is, if you haven't already. And, as more chapters are released, I'm sure those familiar with the video game and the Book of Mormon will be able to recognize those sources of inspiration. Actually, the inspiration is more from a music video based on that game than from the game itself.
Because I've used my own religious beliefs in my Hey, Batter! series, I encourage those who want to write an opposite to The Pegasa's Pizzeria to use their own religious beliefs. Are there Muslim readers of this story that believe that something in the Kuran could help turn the main villain of this story away from her course of destruction? I'd be interested in such a story. Are there any Buddhists that think the teachings of Buddha would work? Again, I'd like to read such a story. If any Christians out there, LDS or otherwise, or Jewish readers, want to turn the main villain of The Pegasa's Pizzeria from her evil course with teachings from the Bible, I'd like to read about it. But, these are just examples. Please don't think that your religion is invalid just because it isn't mentioned here. That isn't the case.
If I inspire a reader to write an opposite story to this one, as I was inspired by Cupcakes, then I'll consider this story a success. And, even if I don't, I still consider it a success if others read it.
