Announcement: MI3 will be my last story · 12:36am Sep 11th, 2014
Title says it all. After the MI series is done, I am going to pretty much retire as a fanfic author.
Next to no one even cares about my work anymore. I will solely finish writing to get the story out of my head and that's it. I might from time to time write a new chapter for Cupcake Factory if I am in the mood and got inspiration. But other than that, I consider my whole brony author carieer a huge failure. I have been trying to keep my motivation up, telling myself that as long as just one person reads my work, it's not in vain. But seing as I started out with over 200 active readers and am now down to maybe 5, I can't see how this is going to get any better from here on.
On the bright side, I am considering to switch from writing fanfics of copyrighted material which I can't make money of, to becoming a genuine author and publishing original stories. I highly doubt it will get me a whole lot of money and I first of all would need to get my life back in order, since I am still struggling with mental health issues. But who knows. Maybe someone might be interested and I can scrape by.

Its not to say that your stories are interesting anymore, I need to finish MI and all your others, but I have been busy with my job and I think that a lot of people dont like waiting for long updates. All it takes is a story to get people to know your name, when you update you will prob show up on popular stories list again and might get a few people. The best way to get your name back out there would be to post like a one shot, something that people will like and then see that you have 5 other stories with a good part of them finished and that would draw interest. Or they are like me who would rather wait for a story to be completed and then finish it. I read MI and still no to get to MI 2 and I remember when I finished it my head was swarming for weeks about what ifs and what would happen if this happened. But its all up to you, this is just my 2 cents and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Its good to hear that I got you so absorbed. But still, I don't think I will write much more than an occasional Cupcake Factory chapter, if at all once the MI series is complete. I am also scrapping Depths of Black.
I absolutely enjoy your writings! I'm sad that you'll be retiring though, I understand that it can be discouraging due to the lack of readers. I'm always awaiting your next chapter though! I look forward for each new chapter! You could say i'm abit antsy without reading your writing, but thats me!
I'll be very sad to see you go, I absolutely love your stories! But if you keep writing stories of your own, I wish you the best of luck. I would definitely read those too, if I could.
But as long as you keep writing MI3 I will be happy, because it is truly marvelous.

Thank you both for the support. I definitely will finish MI3. Other than that, we will see how famous my original stories get and if there will be translated versions into english.
I found MI The Creation on fanfic.net by accident when I was bored and traveling to work if I recall correctly. I almost stopped reading after first few chapters got a little extreme. But I'm so glad I read all ya MI stories so far. Been a brilliant series to read.
It's understandable why ya retiring though. I wish you luck on your own books after this series ends by the way, mate.
You could always add a small flashback scene for Obsidian if there is any important plot scenes that you were thinking of adding for MI Depths of Black. Just an idea.
Don't worry by the way. Even after the story, you may get few readers interested that will like it that may tell friends that get more people to enjoy your story.
