Need your advice.

So I'm thinking about reviving The Alicorn King's Glare.

For those of you who don't know, that was my first Fanfic I have ever published, and the fic I joined FiMFiction to write. The reason I got an account was because I wanted to write this idea.

Since then however, I found out that IDW has been doing several things that either directly contradict or are highly similar to AKG (Specifically the Sombra and Mirror-verse arcs)

What do you guys think? Part of me is thinking I should cancel the fic altogether, but I'd like to avoid that if I could. I'll tag the story for all new followers who'd want to check it out and give me some advice.

(PS: No, It will not distract from SWF or the rest of DW. I won't update AKG as frequently)
