Status Report: Depressing Results T-T · 6:04am Sep 6th, 2014
So it's been over 24 hours and it's time to see how this chapter did. As you can tell from the title, it didn't do so good. It got no likes, only 1 favorite(that I just got a couple of hours before writing this), and 3 dislikes which resulted in the story hitting/passing the 100 dislike mark as well as brought the like/dislike gap back to 40 which hasn't been there since 3 chapters ago. So basically all that effort into breaking the 40 gap and almost hitting the 30 gap was just blown away. So as you can see, this makes me very sad.
I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong here. The only upside was this chapter got 40 more views than the last one. Even with my fellow readers who love this story, I still feel like this was a total failure and knowing that it's going to stay like that once the story is over depresses me. I will say that it wont take so long into finishing the last chapter as the others so you guys wont have to wait too long.
You know, it's kinda weird. No matter how many times others tell you you're great, all the praise in the world means nothing if you don't feel it inside.
Now while I'm still accepting last minute names for Shadow's stage two mode, I now have another job for you guys. Eternal Night, The Canterlot Invasion, these are the names that describe famous events that has happened in Equestrian history. So now I'm looking for a name that will mark the day when Shadow Bolt invaded Canterlot and almost destroyed the city, the Mane 6, and Princess Celestia. I'll pick the best one and put it in the final chapter and I'll give credit to the person in the author notes. So start getting those creative juices going, as I have mentioned the last chapter will be coming out much sooner.
Trust me man I know that feeling.
