The Orchestra has been eclipsed by Shadow. Also, 100 followers. · 1:51am Sep 4th, 2014
So today's been a pretty cool day. I finally broke 100 followers, I got my first story featured on Equestria Daily, and as of the time of this writing, the story I wrote over the course of two days now has one more like than the story I spent a year on. I figure all of this is cause for celebration, and so I thought I would share some insight in to what I'm working on. Right now, there are three projects in the fire.
1.) Princess Luna's Academy: I currently have about 40,000 words of it being edited, and once I know it's solid, well-written, and structurally sound, I will release one or two chapters. This will be my next update, and I hope you all enjoy the light slice-of-life comedy with just a dash of romance thrown in.
2.) Shadow Sequel: I've been toying around with the idea for a sequel for a while now, and I'm starting to put it together. I might know more in the next two days, but this is almost certainly what I'll be working on for the next while.
3.) Outlining an adventure: I want to keep this project tightly under wraps since it's a surprise, and I'm still drafting out the beats. I've got most of the main plot points in my head, so now I just need to turn it into a fully fleshed out story and start writing it.
I'm also currently trying to find someone to help me with future cover art, but I'm really not sure how to go about such things, so if anyone has advice or suggestions, that would be incredibly helpful.
There's also another Octavia sequel I want to work on, but work on it almost certainly won't resume until the rough draft of the Shadow Sequel is finished. Hopefully you enjoy the continuing adventures of Silent Shadow Moon Gazer. Thanks for sticking with me so far and I hope you enjoy the rest of the ride.
Sounds good! Shame I won't be able to read any of these new ones until I've finished eating through your older stuff.
2426136 I... I don't apologize for some of my earlier stuff, but my writing has improved dramatically over the last year or so (so sorry if some of the earlier stuff isn't as good).
2426195 I found it really interesting, honestly. Though I'd like to know if you've got people proof reading your work, as I've noticed that there's consistent grammar issues between the newer and older stories.
It doesn't deduct from the overall quality of anything you've made, but it can confuse one from time to time.
...YES!!!!!!!!!
2426209 I do have a proofreader now, and he's quite good. The main reason it takes so long for me to post now is because I always wait for him to go through it. He catches like... a hundred little details every time.
