Fimfiction Blogging is Getting Way Outta Hand. · 3:06am Sep 1st, 2014
I think the blogging on this site is getting seriously out of hand. I go offline for about an hour, comeback to 50 notification, 80% of them being blog posts. 99% of those blogs have absolutely nothing to do with fimficton, writing, MLP, or literature whatsoever.
I'm not sating that posting a blog not involving these things is bad, cause its not. Hell, I'd be lying if I told you I didn't post a blog daily, but to post 10 blogs a day, all involving how shit your life is, what you ate for breakfast, even just a notification that your dog is hungry, is complete spam.
Again, I've posted my fare share of useless blogs, like a selfie for example, but I make sure not to overflow people notification boxes.
There are other places to go when it comes to rambling about things, like facebook, twitter, instagram, and plenty more.
I'm not bashing you people who post at an unearthly level, but please, consider the fact that this is a fanfiction site.
Ok, now you can post your comment stating how wrong I am.

I don't always blog about ponies, but I don't even blog every day. And someone posted a blog that their dog was hungry? What the heck? Why don't they just feed it then?
I blog a lot. About five times a day. I try to keep it funny if it isn't relevant to anything I'm doing.

I've been noticing this 'phenomenon' as well... People are becoming addicted to fimfiction itself, and not My Little Pony. Knighty really did a good job here...
