I should have spent time writing the next chapter for 'Role Reversal'...I didn't. I was reading 'Background Pony' today (yes, all the chapters) and that definitely ate up my time. The fact that college resumed today hardly helped either. I realize that this isn't very professional and for that I apologize. Luckily the guilt will spur me on to write, write and write tomorrow!
I might also do a little one-shot alongside the chapter. Since at college I had a nice little brainwave (that's the only thing it's good for in regards to my writing. I'd write there but I'm too cowardly to reveal the fact that I'm a brony). Most representations of Doctor Whooves, be it him a time lord or not, are quite upbeat. The only gloomy interpretation I can think of is the Ask Discord Whooves tumblr. That's not really safe for work so you've been warned.
My one-shot (or story as it may develop into) will have the good ol' Doctor being a time lord and not some normal pony. It'll be a sad piece - hopefully - and I've figured out a way for him to be sad instead of mind boggled at the ponies etc. (though that will feature at some point probably). Derpy will appear of course, mainly to brighten up the story where needed.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Role Reversal is my priority. Still, let me know what you think of the idea. I have another idea but...I'd rather stay quiet about that one for now. I doubt anything will come of it though.

You're right! I don't believe I've ever come across a gloomy Doctor Whooves. Soon as you're wrapped up with Role Reversal, you get right on that. On your own time, of course.
