An Interesting Thing About Number 18...

I've officially planned 18 one-shots. As great as this is, though, most of them are projects that I've nearly scrapped. So this requires me to breathe in a new found confidence into them. Number 18 is no exception.

So, for the good or worse, The Essence of Darkness was dropped as my original entry for the Outside Insight contest. And to be honest, it might have been better than Between, even though all that needed to change was the ending and the foreshadowing around it. But for those of you who went back and read my cancelled project, Grandiur, you may recognize 'The Essence of Darkness' concept. I'm slowly bringing back concepts from Grandiur.

Grandiur had potential. I'm personally still interested in creating a story around an amnesiac character, and Come Home, the poetry-prose story, has an amnesiac character. At this point I would say I'm not fully opposed to attempting a rewrite of Grandiur. I feel that I can make it better. Just, I have so many projects planned that I cannot commit to that right now, if not ever.

This post wandered a bit, but hey, at least I got that off of my chest. Brohoofs to you all!
