And I won't be finishing SP, either... So to anyone this disappointing, I'm sorry and I hope you can forgive me for your sake. By the way, I would offer to write the chapters...but writing this kind of stuff is not something I think I could ever bring myself to do. My mind is just not the right kind of mind for the job.

Honestly, leaving a story unfinished is something I absolutely hate in Fanfiction.
That said... I equally hate this story being picked up by someone else, mainly after how long it had been worked on, and knowing the one who worked on it...... not to mention, being your editor, of course...
... I just don't know.

2405435 I have already decided that, IF he does appoint someone to finish this story, if they do not give it the kind of justice it deserves, I will be highly upset. As much as I want the story to be finished, if it does not still have some of Reaper's touch to it, and it is just completely changed and has nothing similar to the feel, I will not enjoy it I don't think. Don't get me wrong, I will probably like the other author, but I just won't find myself liking the story as much.

It puts me in a precarious position: Do I just randomly choose to edit for someone else who I have little to no relations with? I mean, I have principles when it comes to those who I edit for, and Reaper was actually the first guy I worked as an editor for.
Someone else taking the helm? It sounds... maddening to me!
2409039 I have never been an editor, but I can imagine the feeling of what it would be like. Working for/along side the same person for who knows how long, and all of a sudden, they quit and leave you not knowing what to do with your time? I can imagine that would suck.
Especially if I were in the same position. Heck, I had a panic attack in school when my class period was changed without my knowledge, if a friend stopped doing what they do like this, I am pretty sure I would be left as something like this.
