So I noticed my story got 12 dislikes but no real explanation behind them other than one person whom raged about clop being on the popular list. I don't really understand why you have mature enabled though if you don't want to see it. It would be kind of nice to know why the story got disliked other than that it was clop or they dislike the FlutterDash pairing. On the other hand there seem to be dislikes for every fanfic out there regardless of what it is or what it's about, so I guess its just the simple matter of you can't please everyone.
I have one word for you my friend, trolls. The only conceivable reason I can think they would have there mature setting set to on and dislike story's such as this one is that they be trollin. And unfortunatly posts like the one you just made only drive them to troll further. The other possibility is that the story sucked, but I liked it so who knows opinions vary drastically her in the interweb.

Yeah I do see a lot of random account on here, but I guess it's their choice if they want to waste their life merely to dislike a story thinking "Im such an le epic troll XD"
Stuff like this always happens. Something shows up and people like it? Better dislike because hipster behaviour.
People shotgunned all my fics with dislikes from the get-go. You think I care? Hahahaha, nope.
Your best bet is to write more. Write a lot. Keep writing.

Another one of the people I am watching recently said they were going to stop posting their creations on this site, ostensibly because of the dislikes, the trolling, and etc.
Apparently people here go out of their way to get you to stop, since you're the second person I've seen reacting badly to the stress.
Well, joke's on them. I don't plan to stop any time soon. Their hatred only fuels my resolve to write.
Also, for what it's worth, at least your fics have a decent like/dislike ratio.
The ratio is all sideways on some of my fics, though, I have been informed that there is a contingent of people on this website that bitterly hate fics about humans and human-ponies.
My stories involve them, so, apparently, I'm a magnet for that sort of thing. Big deal. See if I jolly well care. I'm not stopping anytime soon.

I'm not bothered by it really but you think the system for likes and dislikes would be a bit better designed to prevent abuse is all really. I don't really plan on stopping writing either mostly because this is the best site I know of to share fanfics.

Truth. I escaped to this site because other writing sites I've been on were just terrible.
Compared to those places, this place is paradise!

I actually have spoken to one of the site staff about it.
Their response was essentially a variant of "Cool story, sis."
Maybe you're right, though. Maybe I need to actually take it to the owner.
2404314 same here, and oh man you should see the crap I got for mine. Yes I know it's crap, and you know what. When I posted the second story on here it got disliked real quick just because of my first story. Well yes it did bother me, comments as well. But I managed to say fuck it and keep on writing. Good or bad dislike/ likes don't mean shit to me
Plus like your story, I see it has some very good ideas
