Totally forgot to re-blog this earlier. Basically, InquisitorM (think I should start calling him Scott now, "Inquisitor" is starting to feel awkward) is initiating a community effort to make it easier for new writers to ask for help. I see a lot of people spamming (and that's what it is, regardless of how well-intentioned or however much I might like some of the people doing it) his comments section. Please don't do that; restrict all comments on his blog post to "advertisements for places an aspiring author can go to get some safe, friendly help". Anything else just makes that information harder to find. I'm sure he wouldn't mind them on his main page
OK, so an interesting thing happened at work today: my boss and I were discussing her new boyfriend, who apparently wanted a pair of her panties (specifically the ones she wore their first night together) to hang on the rear-view window of his car. I thought it was creepy/trashy, while she thought it was hot. We decided to ask our co-workers to settle the debate; every woman considered it normal (according to one co-worker, "that's just how guys are"), though they didn't agree it was hot, while all the men thought it was creepy and that the guy sounded like a perverted douche. I mostly just wanted to share that, 'cause I thought it was funny, but I'd love other opinions too! Also, my boss has previously established that she has absolutely horrendous taste in men
She has bad taste in men, and it's creepy and trashy. <.<
*Nods slowly* Speaking as one who possesses the required internal organs to call myself female...that's creepy as heck. Like, that sounds like it belongs in some crappy teen comedy like American Pie...*shudders*

I should probably ask more of my friends, 'cause you're the first and only woman to agree with me so far
I actually liked American Pie, at least the first one. The sequels weren't quite as good, though they were still enjoyable enough for a fan of the original. The direct-to-video spin-offs were absolute garbage, though, and could probably be utilized as a former of torture
2400887 *Nodnods* I did as well, but I was also the right demographic when it first released, so I dunno if I'd still love them if I saw them now y'know? I've only seen the first two and even now I still think they're great films. but they're not exactly the gold standard of people acting mature y'know?
but no, I love the first one (Oh my god, Eugene Levy just makes the movie for me) and I agree that the rest can rot in a dumpster, though a friend made a couple bucks as a nude extra in the naked mile one.
