I have my first day at school in about......30 mins. Now normally I'm homeschooled, but for the past 2 years, I haven't really learned much. My mom is always busy and last year there was a divorce and so I didn't learn anything really last year. My mom was always off doing her own things. Anywho, so to insure that I would actually learn some stuff this year, she is putting me into the special school for homeschoolers. I go 1 day a week, and am homeschooled the rest of the week. And to top it all off, the school looks like a damn prison!
It's a small block for the schoolhouse, and it has big metal fences around it. I mean big. And I won't know anyone there. And we have to wear uniforms and we can't were accessories. Ugh.....I hate this school.....wish me luck.
I was homeschooled instead of going to middleschool, but went into public schooling when I entered high school. I don't think I'd ever been so shellshocked until then. I hope the best for you, bud!

Thanks, I've been homeschooled my whole life, and when I go into highschool, I"m gonna go to a place called Early Colleges. It lets you take some college classes, or something....

2390907 Just be sure to get outside some before you enter the public schooling. It's a whole different ballpark and it took me almost a whole year just to stop sounding socially inept around people my own age. The written word and the spoken word aren't the same thing, lol. I'm sure you'll do fine though.

2390917 Just do a Twilight Sparkle and make friends! It'll help in so many ways and make school a pleasant stay rather than just plain boring. Trust me, if you've been properly homeschooled then they won't be able to keep up with you academically any more than you can keep up with them culturally.
