Wait, you're upset because she hasn't had an episode yet? I wish she had one, too, but let's be honest here: MLP is, at the end of the day, a show made to sell toys. The mane six are the, uh, main characters and the toys that are most often bought and sold. I would love to get a Celestia and/or Luna episode that goes into their back story, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Also, I don't see the Celestia hate. I think you're focusing too much on the negative minority. The vast majority of Celestia stuff I see is very positive. Even the parody versions of her -- Molestia, Trollestia, Tyrantlestia -- are all tongue-in-cheek and not really meant to be taken seriously. There are groups of people who hate *every* character, but they're not what you should be focusing on. Hell, I don't hate Celestia! I've spent the last eight months writing about her!
You're focusing too much on the negative. Seriously. And where does she get abuse from the show's writers? Celestia is a central character, even if her presence is downplayed to make room for the mane six to be heroes. If you're getting so upset over perceived treatment of a character, I think you need to take a step back and just look at things from a broader perspective. I mean, shit, my favorite character is Rarity, and she is consistently misunderstood and voted lowest in fan polls, but that doesn't stop me from declaring her Best Pony. Or writing a 350,000+ word story about her.
So cheer up. Best Princess is still okay in my book.

I think you're taking these things far too seriously. Chrysalis beat Celestia to establish herself as a dangerous character. It's basic story telling.
