So I'm currently writing Chapter 7 of Role Reversal, so far so good although I'm taking a little break today so don't expect it to be completed until tomorrow. But I can tell you now that it contains...

Anyway, on with the REAL point of this blog post: ideas.
Don't worry, it'll be a while until Role Reversal is fully finished but it's always good to have future story ideas in mind. For me this probably the hardest part of writing fanfiction: you have to be careful not to unwittingly take people's ideas and you also have to create something that will grab people's attention. I've got two possible stories floating around in my head:
1. A Halo/MLP crossover fic. I'm very passionate about Halo (since y'know, it's awesome) and MLP so why not combine the two? Obviously I'd have to read other fics of this nature and make sure a find a niche. I wonder if one has been done with the Arbiter? If only it were so easy...
2. A story staring a character completely made from scratch. Is he a pony? No sir, he's a Minotaur! I've actually written a small portion of the beginning just to get a feel for it. So far it's going alright. Basically it tells the story of Flint, a travelling Minotaur who's a mercenary. What I have written so far is actually a lot of my theories on Minotaur society so if I ever decide to go with this idea, take it with a pinch of salt.
