So somehow this happened.
Cream and Sugar, my latest story, was just now featured on Equestria Daily. I know it isn't the biggest achievement in the world, but I feel that it is among my first significant ones as a writer. The positive response I've received from those of you who read it has been truly overwhelming. It was a ton of fun(and sad) to write, and it's wonderful that so many enjoyed it when I was sure it would fall flat and get buried. Publishing short stories and novelettes more frequently definitely seems like a good plan, which brings me to the topic of the next story I'll publish.
My past two stories has been about Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash, and Apple Bloom and Applejack, so it shouldn't surprise you that the next one will feature Sweetie Belle and Rarity. The premise really excites me, and I can't wait to have you guys read the final product. Can't go into details yet, but it is a gritty thriller about mending a broken relationship while being on a knife-edge between life and death. I'm 10,000 words into the first draft and currently writing the ending. It's hard to say when the second and third drafts will be done, but my goal is to have it ready for publication this month.
I hope to at some point be able to release a new story every month, but I can't make any promises on that just yet. For now, rest assured that I'm working on my stories every single day and I'm putting as much heart and soul into them as I possibly can. Thank you all for sticking with me. Without you, I'd be a nobody playing schizophrenia on digital paper. With you, I'm able to turn squiggles on a page into living, breathing worlds of misery and wonder. I can hardly begin to express how grateful I am.

Thank you. I'll ask my alpha-readers take a look at the first draft on Monday. Shouldn't take too long to finish.
