Let's talk art...

Like most others, I love some good art, and there's no denying that the pony fandom has brought out some amazing artist. One of my favorites are Fox, you know, the guy who made the cover art from Black Dawn. Now, the reason I'm writing this blog is because I'd like to ask; is there anyone out there who'd be interested in making some artwork for me? Perhaps one of my followers are good at drawing, or knows someone talented who doesn't ask too much when it comes to the price?

Take Fox for instance; his artwork is amazing, but now that he's increased his price for commission, it's too much for me, and if I ever will commission him again, it'll only be for cover art. The kind of art I'd like to see would be, as an example, the Stalkers, trudging through the snow and winds, or just depictions of certain scenes from the story itself. My sister draws well, but she's not good with actual, detailed backgrounds, and keeps mostly to simple ponies. One of my Swedish friends is talented at it as well, but he doesn't want to draw ponies because he hates them. I did convince him to draw one once, but that's it.

There's so many parts of Song of the Unbroken which I for one think would look great if drawn right. One part I'd really love to see above all else would be something that' coming up soon, where Crescent meets somepony from his past in a pretty... bad way. Let's leave it at that, no spoilers here. I'd love some artwork of the Stalkers just being what they are; scavengers, tresspasers, adventurers, loners, killers, explorers and robbers; but also helping, protecting, serving and defending; all the things that embody the Equestrian Stalkers.
