Ladies and gentlemen, fillies and gentlecolts my Starbound fan fiction is coming to an end but hold on! The end is only a new beginning. With both my long term science fan fictions coming to a close I finally deem it necessary to unveil THE SEQUEL!:

Starbound Ascension: The Next Generation

That's right! My two most popular science fiction series: Hybrid Ascension and Skies of Harmony: Starbound will converge into one multiverse and a proud canon sequel to both SFHA and SoH:SB. What you see before you is the cast for the United Equus Space Forces Next Generation Joint Strike Force, otherwise known as the NGJSF or JSF. Inspired by their United Pokemorph Federation allies Equestria has started its own specialized elite special forces program to rival that of Task Force Frostbite. Hailing from all branches of the military into a combined force that operates as an independent entity. Let's meet some of the crew!

The leader of the NGJSF is Captain Ship Mcdaniel. She is the captain of the Equestrian escort carrier: The EMS Sky Buster. This spaceship serves as home base for the team with comepletely autonomous drones that report to each of their assigned maintenances officers above. Captain Ship, what makes your unit so special?

Ship: "Well! Nothing but the finest bunch of trained badasses here narrator! All of our team mates are tried and true warriors of Equestria and Equus!"

Very good! Please do introduce some of the crew to us.

Ship: "Right. This here to my left is Mac Book, son of Applejack and Digibro."

Mac: "Hey what's up?"

Ship: "He runs this carriers command and control assets as well as providing tactical support to our team. To my right is Nelly and her brother Saggitarius. Say hello and tell the good folks at home what you do!"

Nelly: "Hello! I get one of the cool jobs on the ship. I get to fire the big guns. This carrier is armed with four magic powered anti-ship laser batteries of four guns each with a compliment of long range anti-ship missiles to even the odds against anything we face. Plus, we got some good pilots and AA defenses too, you should meet up with them sometime."

Saggitarius: "And I am Lord Saggitarius Antonius Percival Degroot Canon the fourth."

Jet: "SAGGY WAFFLE!"

Saggitarius: "Why thank you Jump Jet for ruining my lovely introduction! Anywho, I am in charge of piloting the whole carrier and navigating this fine vessal through the stars. And that cocky horse is-"

Jet: "Captain Jump Jet at your service narrator! I am only the finest combat aviator since my late father and rainbow colored mother sir! I am also a fully certified Titan pilot with four hundred hours of hands on use, one hundred being in combat sir!"

And so are you the leader of your squadron?

Jet: "Yes sir! We have many fine pilots that I am proud to call my friends. We have Tough Heart, there's my sister Avia, Night Petal is our stealth pilot, you got Morning Shine in the XFA-27 over there, Scratch; she flies our ground attackers, Piggle can drive anything, and this is Morning's sister: Circus Blossom. She likes bombs, fire, and explosives."

Tough: "Yo!"

Avia: "Hey bro."

Petal: "Hmm?"

Shine: "Can you kindly not interupt me while I run a diagnostic on my fighter? Please and thank you."

Scratch: "Meow!"

Piggle: "I like to cook things too! I'm the ship's chef. I make a booming veggie loaf!"

Blossom: "DID SOMEPONY SAY BOOM?!"

All: "NOOOO!"

Ahem, let's leave the- (loud explosion from the hangar cuts me off) m to do thier duties and visit the mech bay. Here is one of the robot pilots right now. Please sir, tell us what you do here.

Prelude: "I am Lieutenant Prelude of the NGJSF. I am the teams designated marksstallion and one of the Titan pilots on the ground. We work with the flyboys to make sure the ground operations proceed smoothly. Let's meet some of my Titan pilots. This is Fredrick but we call him Frag for a good reason."

Fredrick: "I blow shit up and that's my job. I'm the heavy weapons specialist and I'm usually in the thick of the action. Does your mech have a sword? Mine does!"

Prelude: "Frag's a nice guy. He's fun to be around most of the time. Anyway these are the two rookies of the group: Sugar Rush and Simon. Tell us what you guys do around here."

Rush: "I'm one of the new reserve Titan pilots and mechanic of the team. I see to every mechanical part of these fine war machines to make sure they are fighting fit. And here is my friend Simon."

Simon: "Shalom! I too am a Titan pilot but I mainly focus on out of the cockpit fighting. My robot is modified to be smarter than the others so I can take the fight into tighter areas like inside of buildings."

Prelude: "Also, some of the fly boys are also Titan pilots. We switch in and out depending on if we need air support or not. You should probably go meet the support staff. Best if we don't keep you waiting."

Okay then. As we walk on take note of all the ships features. We have a fully furnished lounge complete with various entertainment systems, message chairs, and fully stocked vending machines to keep the crew happy. Here we have the cafeteria where Piggle and Jump Jet cook all manner of delightful OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT CRAWLING ON THE FLOOR?! KILL IT!

Storm: "Whoa whoa whoa, hold on there. That is my pet and his name is Squiggy. Although his venom can kill a full grown pony in a matter of milliseconds I assure you he is a sentient being capable of reason and thought. Say hello Squiggly."

Squiggly: *HIISSSSSSS! Hi! Friends?*

Storm: "He likes you. Would you like to pet him?"

HELL NO! Why do you have a one eyed alien centipede as a pet?

Storm: "Because the Harobed One Eyed Centipede is one of the most docile creatures on that planet despite their rather aggressive look. Run along now, I have a formal interview with this strange human. And please, don't almost drown in the soup again."

Ummm, okay. So what do you do?

Storm: "I am the lead electronics technician of the JSF. What Rush does with mechanical parts I do with software. I am also a rather open minded and intelligent individual who might decide to cook up a new weapon or two for the team. I basically tinker and program to my hearts content."

Thank you. Is there anypony I missed?

Cross: "That would be my father thank you. Greetings human and welcome abroad. I am Prince Iron Cross of Equestria and Germaneigh. I was assigned to this vessal and crew as the chief diplomat and ambassidor to the stars. I take great pride in my work but this crew is a little..."

Storm: "Motely?"

Cross: "To put it into less offense terms I guess. I see many stupid things happen around here but these stallions and mares are some of the best our planet has to offer. I can assure you that."

Jet: "GUYS WE NEED MORE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS! IT'S SPREADING TO THE ARMORY!"

Cross: "Oh dear... Why is this my assignment?"

Storm: "At least you have my sane friendship. Our fathers were best friends too you know."

Cross: "Chips of the old blocks I see."

Jet: "CAN WE GO ONE DAY WITHOUT BLOSSOM LIGHTING SOMETHING ON FIRE!"
