I've turned of Mature fics. If you have a mature fic you'd like to share with me, or a mature Twilestia shows up (I can still see them appear in the group, just not read what they're about), I can temporarily disable them. But given that I've found the Featured box is much more diverse and full of much more interesting fics that wouldn't make it without this modification (I found three stories I'm actually interested in reading last night! In the featured box!), and given that I've heard one too many rape/torture porn/whatever premise that makes me sick to my stomach (the latest being a story from a colleague that reads like a Taliban's wet dream), this is unlikely to change, at least in the near future.
Apologies for any inconvenience this might cause Twilestia group members. And do remember, if you want me to read your story, I am sure I can make an exception. This also means there will likely never be a clopfic spinoff to Opening Twilight's Heart, though I might be convinced otherwise. Maybe.
On a happier note, another announcement. Speaking of spinoffs, I'll be doing a sequel to Opening Twilight's Heart starring Twilight, Celestia, Rarity and the rest of the mane cast. Abyss suggested I give it a shot while he tried to get some writing done on Chapter 3, and I found that I do have some story left to tell in me regarding the conclusion. Hope some of you will join me for the ride.
Lastly, I am looking for some cover art of Celestia as heartbroken, corrupted or otherwise past the Despair Event Horizon for another (unrelated) story called The Year Of Bleeding Sun, which will likely come out near the end of August. If you know a good one, feel free to share.
