How I deal with trolls

[To my loyal followers, this blog post is not directed at you, but if you would like a complete list of trolls I have encountered who might harass your stories I can PM it to you if you post a comment requesting as much. In addition, you are quite welcome to add anything you might feel is helpful in dealing with this issue or simply read what I've written for entertainment.]

I'm writing this blog for posterity's sake because I have found that the oft-toxic Fimfiction community has lately turned to trolling stories simply based upon the fact that shipping exists in them under the guise of posting "criticism", usually said "criticism" involving decrying the content of the story for being common, as if something being common automatically lowers its inherent value. Common things, like oxygen, or water, or houses, or the human race, are apparently undesirable to these people simply for their being common. That is but one of many "criticisms" I and other Twilestia writers have had to endure (as well as being called pedophiles, which besides being incredibly insulting is also a serious criminal accusation in my country which I could happily hold you legally accountable for making if I was so tickled) as of late, and as a result I'm sick of inaction.

To make a long story short, if you have been redirected towards this blog post it is to answer a question as to why you have been blocked from my account and your comments deleted. It is not because I cannot take criticism: A quick look around will see several of my stories contain numerous comments of nothing but criticism. It is because I do not tolerate trolling and I do not feel the need to parlay with trolls. I will always meet you, if you are one of these "critics", with a reasonable counterargument and be happy to discuss further with you from there as you so desire. However, if your reply is juvenile in any way or you choose to respond in any way that is anything other than treating myself and especially my readers and followers, who I care for dearly, with anything other than the respect they and I deserve, you will receive a link to this blog post and effective immediately I will block you and delete your comments. In addition, I will warn all writers in my genre I am currently in contact with of your existence so they can block you pre-emptively without having to deal with your asinine nonsense.
