Don't worry everypony! I know you've been waiting a long time for the next chapter of the King of Queens, but this is the last chapter of the first arc so not only am I trying to make sure it's one heck of a doozy that you know... won't fail your expectations... or be boring... bleh. Anyways, yeah the chapters about halfway done... and is about 12,000 words long so far. So it's still gonna be a little while. Luckily I had some things with life that were interfering with my writing that aren't anymore so I can now devote 100%... well maybe not 100% but a whole bunch of time to my writing so you shouldn't have to wait too much longer. If it takes more than three more days to get this out, I'll probably throw a blog post up for a sneak peek just to tie you guys over.

Finally, and this is totally optional, I'm not real big on creating characters out of the blue. So if you want you can put your own OC here in the comments with a short description. I'll probably only take one and if I don't pick yours, it's not because I thought it was stupid or anything like that, just that the one I DID choose fits better with the overall storyline. You could have the most awesome OC I've ever seen, but if it didn't have a place in my story there wouldn't be a point in using it. :(
My OC: Name- Night Risk
Fur Color- Grey
Mane and Tail Color- Blue and Electric Blue (Like Vinyl Scratch's just because I love that color combo)
Race-Pegasus
Eye Color- Teal
Cutie Mark- An eye peering through a keyhole.
Bio: Chose to join the Royal Guard at age 17. Works as an intelligence gatherer and if need be a battlefield scout for the Royal Guard. Got his cutie mark shortly after he joined the royal guard in a training exercise when they needed to "spy on foreign dignitary". His fate was sealed after that when he gained his cutie mark and passed the exercise with the best marks in years. After that he was taken for special training and sent to random locations all over Equus (you can choose where he was stationed for story purposes if you choose to use him).
Current Age: 22

Name: Savant Hooves, although he goes with a bucket load of nicknames.
His Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a picture of a square with an arrow in the middle, pointing to the right, at a circle. Above the arrow, is a question mark. It symbolizes that his cutie mark changes at random times, and that it never stays the same.
It comes with a curse though; it's a lot harder to do something that's not his current talent, and it will takes a lot of time to get better at it. The question mark above the arrow, however, changes to a picture of a new cutie mark for a new talent.
Appearance: His coat is a rust red color, and his mane and tail are grey. Both his mane and tail are grown long, with his tail a few inches off the ground and his mane hanging in his dark red, yet brown-appearing eyes. He's taller than most ponies by a few inches and speaks in a clear, low voice.
Clothing: A nice, black tophat. Who doesn't like tophats? He also wears a wide selection of hats, but usually his tophat.
Bio: He pretty much wanders nearly everywhere, and has a knack for getting himself into trouble without doing anything, just by being there, and either by fortune or his cutie mark changing to help him, he keeps managing to live another day.
