Careful consideration made me decide to take a break from Lyra's Voyages II, in order to focus on fleshing out the VNE-verse.
What is the VNE-verse?
referring to my previous blog, it is a humanized verse where ponies (along with griffins, Buffalo, and Zebra) are humans, Changelings are elves, and such.
Why VNE? I'm bad at coming up with humanized MLP places, so it's referring to Ponyville- the Village Near the Everfree.
the VNE-verse is relatively interesting tech-wise. chariots are a major transportation, and the most advanced weapon is a musket, but they have electricity.
MAGIC, THAT'S WHY!
Oh, and the 'verse is open to any writer. Lunar Metal has already told me he was going to write stories set within it.
There's even a group now: the Village Near the Everfree. The forums will contain details about races. While not as extensive as my Known World project, I promise it's interesting.
That aside, Lyra's voyages is NOT on Hiatus, it just won't be updated for a while
