I have been getting some really wonderful feedback from someone named LovinLife, and I can’t thank this user enough for the praise and criticism. While his (her?) praises have helped boost my desires to keep writing, his criticism has given me good reason to go back over my work to make it stronger.
With that said, I have just written three new chapters and completely revamped a chapter. The new content starts at Chapter 8, entitled My Breakfast with Princess Celestia. That's followed by This Isn't a Date, The Chairman's Speech, and a complete rewrite of Until We Meet Again. Things I accomplished with these chapters was to flesh out the apprehensive friendship between Smithy and Bladire, give some characterization to Stinking Rich, and introduce Senator Carpet Bag as a lowly chairman, helping to not have him drop in as just another bad guy in the much later chapters.
I plan to add more content soon, including Smithy’s short lived high diving career. Stay tuned for more, and if you haven't payed LovinLife a visit, do yourself a favor and do so.
I'll get around to reading those new chapters at some point, though I am pretty busy with my own fanfics. Still, it's great to hear of your dedication to this story.
