So I saw the director's cut of Dare Devil and while it wasn't a great movie, I think I've got a pretty good idea for my universes Daring Devil, otherwise known as A.K. Yearling, based on that movie loosely. I'll be using Fiscal Year, from Spider-Mare: Cat's Claws as King Pin and he'll hire Bullseye when Daring Devil hits a little too close to his current illegal endeavour. Daring and Bullseye fight, Bullseye misses a kill shot, by a hair and gets a little obsessed.
Now, my thoughts on Dare Devil.
Ben Afflec was surprisingly good as Matt Murdock and, although it's a different character, I'm confident he can pull off a good batman. Maybe a better one than Bale's Dark Knight. He also pulled of the blind guy thing better than I would have thought, especially considering Murdock can still see with sound.
Colin Ferrel was the biggest surprise however. I've never been a big fan of him, but he did a really good job as Bullseye. I loved his acting, once he got to being obsessive over missing his first shot at Dare Devil. Now about that shot. It was a really lame miss. I say this because Bullseye can hit Spider-Man with broken glass, better than a swat team armed with guns designed to trace the wall crawler can. Yes that happened and it was awesome.
Michael Clark Duncan was an amazing King Pin. Although he kinda pussied out at the end of his fight. I also hated how that fight happened right after Dare Devil beat Bullseye. Kinda felt like that really undermined how much Bullseye mattered in that movie. They should have set up the sequel and kept King Pin around awhile. Even if there wasn't a sequel. All in all any problems I had with King Pin are due to bad writing.
Next up we have Jennifer Garner as Elektra. Hated her. Never was a fan and that remains true.
Others I took notice of were Jon Favreau as Matt Murdock's partner and Kevin Smith as a CI.
Other than that the Special effects and action were acceptable for the time the movie was made. The story was decent and most of the acting was admirable.
Now for some unrelated stuff. The moving process is interfering with my writing more than I'd like. I gotta get to to bed early these days, so I can be up early to pack my things. So yeah. First chapter if Cap Equestria is started, but might not finish for awhile.

Daredevil is one of my all time favourite heroes, so I love just about anything related to him. I've got my own plans for a Daredevil story, but it'll be interesting to see your take on the character.
