The last time I spent four hours on a single match of a game... · 1:26am Jun 21st, 2014
...I was playing monopoly.
Sweet Celestia. But I finally won my first scenario, a 4 player FFA where I allied with another empire, and slowly steamrolled the other two that didn't.
Took that long because just as I was about to launch a major offensive, the pestering pirates came knocking and I changed course and opened a can of whoop-ass on their base.
But I don't think there's been anything else that makes me feel like such an intergalactic badass than having a cluster of 20-30 siege frigates rain fire down on a planet.
The steamroll... Undoubtably the most fun thing you could ever do in a strategy game, that along with the turtle, if done right, or when fighting against the other. Good to have a win under your belt though, even if it was through tricky sneaky back alley deals! That's how gangsters get it done.
No idea how long it was, but I think the longest match I have been in that I had done in one sitting, was a game of civ on a huge earth map at standard pace. I went for domination so, it took awhile.
Longest time I've ever spent playing a single match in a game was the champion battle in Pokemon fire red. It took me over 5 hours...
