No, Fire Emblem! Quit calling me back to get all the time travelers to go out with each other!
Seriously, this game rocks. Your character starts out fighting a war for his adopted country (I say adopted because your character starts out with amnesia) and you become part of the Prince's personal unit, and the chief strategist of the army. The game really picks up after the war's over, because there's a lot more fighting to be done after that. Let's just say zombies from the future factor in, as well as some people who come to help out your forces. Their origins are a mystery.
There's an interesting game mechanic that allows units to associate with each other the more they fight alongside each other. If they socialize enough, they grant each other higher bonuses based on how much they trust each other. And if a male and a female unit trust each other enough, they get married. My character ended up marrying the Princess of the kingdom by Chapter 7. (And when I realized what was going on, and with the choices I made, Chapter 9 got a WHOLE lot more personal.)
It's a great turn based strategy RPG, and the storyline will really knock your socks off. You fight invading kingdoms, bandits, and zombies. There's a bit of grinding involved, but it's well worth it. I love this game so much.
And...yeah. That's why I haven't been working on my stories. Don't hate me!

I understand completely
Normal or Hard?
It doesn't really make that big of a difference most of the time... or atleast it doesn't feel like a difference. You just have to grind ships enough and soon I will have my second promoted army. It will be glorious, though my characters is already promoted the third time... I should get rid of the experience skill.
Also do you have any same sex pairings? Are you annoyed by the fact samesex can't marry?
I just want my KellamxStahl pair...

I play normal, because I'm new to the series.
Same Sex Pairings? I dunno, none of the guys strike me as SSP material. I'm all for SSP, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't seem like any of them would be compatible with each other personality-wise. As for samesex can't marry, not really annoyed by that. It makes sense, given the setting, and there's also the time travel factor that you have to take into consideration with the game.
If I had to choose an SSP relationship, though, It'd be ChromXFredrick because of Fredrick being oblivious to the fact that there are gay people. He'd probably feel that way to an extent towards Chrom, not knowing there's a term for it, and Chrom, being a traditionalist, would be creeped out by it. It's a recipe for comedy, and I love the idea. And this was before I played the Harvest DLC.

Gamewise speaking Stahl and Kellam are a amazing pairing, since both are just the übertanks, especially if you promote them to general and paladin. They will lay waste to everything in their way and don't even need healing to do so.
Otherwise I would like to have my female character and Miriel, Chrom and Fredeick as well (though they suck a lot later on...) and Virion and Libra. They would be just perfect.
What are your favorite classes, by the way?
