Every antagonist is the protagonist of their own story.

    2018 Resolution

A few hours early, but I figured I would write this while I have some free time instead of squeezing it in when I don't.

    Holiday Story Dec 2016

2 years ago today, I wrote a story called Cold Outside. It didn't get much reception, but I still read it sometimes for the feels. I was looking at it again, seeing as the holidays were coming up, and I wanted to write a follow up part. Last year I wrote some human holiday thing that didn't end up very well. I wanted to delete that story because it didn't feel like a story. I hadn't, mostly

Project Horizon · 7:12am Jun 16th, 2014

I just thought I'd talk a little bit on Project Horizon, and probably do this for other stories afterwards. This is to give my thoughts on the story as a whole, as well as how I came up with the story and any interesting things that pop into my head while I write this.
**SPOILERS** (Only a few)
Okay, first thing I want to discuss is how I came up with the story. I was in the middle of writing a completely different story late at night. On the first chapter of the story, I decided I needed to scrap it, because it wasn't the result I was looking for. I never scrap things completely, so I opened it up one day, curious as to what I was thinking. After re-reading it, I decided to change a few things, and the story really wrote itself out. Later, I contemplated writing a story for the Project itself, which I decided against. This story took priority over the other story, which I'm continuing to write now that this story is over.
Next: The story was meant to focus on the two of the main characters together, but it ended up focusing on only one of their lives, mostly due to the fact I wanted to keep it a short story. This changed up a lot of the plans I had, but I felt it turned out okay in the end. Nothing much to say here, other than the fact that I had to revise a specific part multiple times, and at one point I gave up and started playing League of Legends for a while until I tried again to fix the part.
Finally: Considering the story wasn't meant to exist in the first place, I felt I did a good job in creating the IDEA of the story. I still feel I rushed it, but that's probably because I almost never write or read short stories. On how I finished it, my friend even told me something along the lines of "Shouldn't blah blah blah be specified? Or mentioned a little more?" Another one said that Eclipse was given a really vague background, but I decided that he has no room to talk. Overall: If you liked it, Great! If you hated it, then oh well, try a different story.
Thanks for reading!
