Juggling a whole bunch of story ideas · 3:09am Jun 16th, 2014
So, I'm pretty new to this writing thing.
However, while writing "Scootaloo & The Cabinet of Seers", I've been greeted by a number of fleeting ideas for stories - inspiration, if you will.
I've been trying to diversify my writing style a bit, maybe to come up with something more light-hearted and fun instead of the super heavy ideas, in smaller bite size chunks. Here are a few of the ideas I have.
"The Play's The Thing" - Sweetie Belle struggles with her schoolfilly crush on her longtime best-friend and fellow Crusader, Scootaloo. She knows it's weird, but her feelings won't subside. However, she can't bring herself to tell the object of her affections! But the winds of fortune blow when Cheerilee appoints Sweetie Belle as director of the school play.
"An Offer You Could Refuse, But Would Be Hard Pressed To" - Flim and Flam find themselves on the doorstep of Carousel Boutique, trying to convince the fashionista Rarity to purchase their brand new vacuum-cleaner-slash-video-cassette-recorder.
"Slim Pickings" - Applejack, one of the fittest and healthiest ponies in all of Ponyville, is perturbed when all of her friends tell her very brazenly that she has a weight problem.
What do you think? Potential?
Also - Chapter 8 is in the pipe now. Godzillawolf is doing some likely much needed proofreading and editing, and it will be posted.
I still have a few other ideas in store for the more serious fare, but I'm wondering what my currently five faithful followers would like to see. If anyone else who reads this blog has a suggestion for a story they'd like to see, let me know!

Also, I can't help but notice the period between 'awesome' and 'sauce'. Any reason why?

Well, then, as my first follower to comment on my blog, it shall be so! While working on updates for Scootaloo & The Cabinet of Seers, I will take a breather from time to time to construct "The Play's The Thing". I've never tried writing a romantic piece before, but this one will be pretty light and fluffy.
The period is to emphasize a pause, much like how Rainbow Dash exclaims "Best. Wedding. Ever!" at the end of "A Canterlot Wedding".

And the reason I asked about the period was because in all the times I have heard the phrase 'Awesome Sauce', I have never seen anyone use a period in it.
And reading your comment again tells me that you are just happy that someone is talking to you...
