Mayhew Cullen

Forged from the eldest fires and cast upon the seething shore, broken and remade, alive and dead. We are killer and monster, savior and saint. Now I am become writer, creator of worlds.

    Again?

Well true believers and other nonsensical monsters, it has happened again. Okay yeah I've been less active in recent times but-my stories are still somehow getting love.

Love in this case is on specific soul who has made a YouTube reading of "A Mother's Love: The Directors Cut"!

    New Year, New Styles

Suffice it to say my life is becoming the mess, but all is not lost. I have good friends, a tiny portion of my family still likes me, and Everfree Northwest is going to be great this year.

    I Live! Sort of...

Um... yeah. To say the least I am still alive, my story ideas are still fumbling about in my skull, and I will be attending Everfree Northwest with my delightful niece, who is more like a brony than I think she understands. She draws ponies, makes up stories about ponies, and analyzes the show when we watch together... in so much as she asks why things are hapening and what different ponies mean

So much is new! · 3:21am Jun 15th, 2014

One... season four is streaming on Netflix... that is all... at least about that... all I mean is I'm happy that I can watch any episode I want at any time I want no... the season four finale is on my list of things to watch again very soon... maybe Tuesday because I don't have work and I can watch it in HD on the big TV...

Next... Yeah I haven't really updated in a long time. I've been really busy with work and lots of reading... and writing... I will be posting some literature tomorrow. So that's big news...

Number Three! um... Check out this story... Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions. I know I don't usually plug stories... okay I do sometimes, but they have to be something I've really enjoyed. Or in this case I am currently enjoying. Kudzu is prolific, I really wish I could write as fast and put out that quality of work. Any way a quick warning, the story can get quite dark at times and is a bit risque which is why I'm saving the link till the end of my pitch.. All that said the story has wonderful heartfelt moments and a wonderful cast of characters. So if I still haven't scared y'all away, here you go, Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions

Fourth place goes to... all the wonderful people watching me. Sorry y'all get beaten by, bacon, my beautiful nieces, and this guy named Stan Englebert in South Detroit. Don't ask me how Stan got there... I never even met the guy...

Um... mostly I'm just rambling now so... thank y'all for coming out. Oh Five! I'm gonna try to do this in the future, just give little updates and such then try and sell y'all on a story I've read or an author I like. I will do my best in the future to avoid featured fics and famous writers so you get a taste more of the lesser known stories.

Sorry but... One more thing! Six, I am going to work on another one shot in the near future, titled "Nightmare's Moon"(Title is still somewhat pending) It will actually feature as a major story element a part of my headcanon that I have never really shared and will star Princess Luna and Princess Celestia. I have no ETA as I have not even started any kind of planning aside from the premise but hopefully it will be out before August. Also I now have found in myself another story I would like to write... come on Mayhew... no more new stuff until the old is better taken care of.

So hath proclaimed the writer Mayhew Cullen and as it is in his mind, so it shall be.

It's about time season four was put on Netflix but as usual I already downloaded the entire season. :rainbowlaugh:

Lookin' forward to your next story. It sounds interesting. :pinkiehappy:

Netflix huh? Interesting.:trixieshiftleft:

2208097 I would have, but I'm kind of new to this Brony thing(just joined the fandom a little after the fourth season started airing) and I-tunes won't play nice for me. I don't know exactly how the story will turn out, but it will be fun to put it on paper.

2208143 Yeah, I was surprised too, I was just browsing and hit the front page button and right there at the top, MLP, New episodes... So I said, "Why yes I will watch the season finale forever."

2208263 I'm pretty knew to it too. Right around Christmas time actually. I've known much about bronies for a long time just never paid it much thought. It all started when someone at work was mentioning how he had a cousin that is a brony and how he didn't get it. He said there's even a brony convention. My response was "Wow I had no idea it was this big of a thing... to have its own con." Googling ensued as soon as I got home, an hour latter I was watching the first episode. I was pretty much through season one in a couple of days then I found this site thereafter.
Needless to say my friend is annoyed how he somehow converted me to a fandom he doesn't understand or follow all because he mentioned it at work. We still laugh about it to this day. :rainbowlaugh:

2208269 That's a great conversion story. I joined up about the same time after three months of fighting it tooth and nail. I started out wandering across YouTube videos, parody, music videos until at the end of November I said to myself, "Okay Mayhew, we are going to watch a little bit of the show and then when we find out how dumb and childish it actually is we can quit this pony thing and move on to something else." Half way through season three in mid December I said, "When the crap did I become a brony?" And it's all been one big descent into madness from there. Not because of the show itself but more because of the fandom itself. Songs and fanfic stole me away from a boring life of not ponies.

Understandable. That finale was truly epic!:yay:
