Random ideas #7 (Character Profile)

Name: Grey/(Some pun on grey)
Team of 4, archaeology team. Investigates island with reported strange magnetic fields.
Enters a temple. Finds a box made of gears. Chains and sharp pointy things flail out and impales all of them.
Black out
Wakes up. Sees 4 corpses in front of him/her. Realizes that he has all of their memories. Box of gears is gone. Instead, his right hoof is covered in a mass of machinery, crawling through his flesh. Coat and mane is grey. Dull, silver eyes. Voice says "Incompatible for assimilation. Plan B, removal."
Sudden urge to walk. Leaves island. Urge to destroy as the metal crawls up higher up his arm. Gets stabbed on a tree branch. Temporarily regains faculties, terrified.
time skip
Wanders the planet wrapped in barbed wire, a danger to everything except himself. Unable to kill himself, no matter what he tried. If loses control, weapons grow out of the machinery infesting his foreleg.

I have no idea what to do with this.
