2nd Year Anniversary and Preparing for A-kon · 8:28pm Jun 4th, 2014
Hello my fellow bronies, today marks the 2nd anniversary of when I started watching MLP.
I have to say that I'm a little worried after what's happened the last year. I'm not enjoying the series as I used to, and it's all because of Twicorn. If none of you didn't already know, I hated that they turned Twilight into a princess. I had hoped that the new season would help me get over it, but it didn't. Especially since we went through the season tip toeing the whole princess issue until the finale. It's gotten so bad that I don't even watch the old episodes anymore because of all the changes. Twilight's ascension, Equestria Girls, Rainbow Power, and Twilight's castle all infuriate me. But I'm not leaving the fandom, I just wished I could get over it like all the millions of bronies have.
This weekend is A-kon and I'm excited, now that the season is over I can now get back into anime. It's a shame that none of the cast will be there this year. I had a lot of fun last year, to those who read my 1 year anniversary blog will already know. Although now something has come up that has thrown a wrench into my plans. Those who read the blog would see that last year I cosplayed as Slender Man,(got a lot of people wanting my picture) and I was planning to be Slendermane this year. But because of recent events I feel that will no longer be the case. I'm pretty sure that everyone heard the news in Washington about the two 12 year old girls who tried to kill another 12 year old girl thinking they could become proxies(Slender Man's servant's). Now I'm concerned that if I cosplay as him I would be getting a lot of negative feedback. So what do you guys think, should I go as Slendermane or not?
To be or not to be? That is the question.

Eh...I don't let all the Twicorn, Rainbow Power, Equestria Girls stuff bother me too much. What will bother me is if Hasbro decides to turn the Mane 6 into alicorns or make an Equestria Girls 3. That...that would be going too far.

From seeing how things are going there will most likely be a Equestria Girls 3. As long as those little girls buy those horrible Barbie dolls they'll keep making movies. And I would have no problem if the rest of the Mane 6 became Alicorns.(that would actually fix my problem.)

I think you should hold off on Slendermane. It's cool to dress like a popular characters, it's not cool nor a good idea to dress like a popular character that may have inspired two children to attempt murder. Murder is only okay in the realm of fiction, well, usually. On second thought, that would be pretty funny watching girls run up to you and begin worshipping you like a demonic entity.
If the Mane Six all became Alicorns, they would be so OP that it would probably take something like Slenderman or some other insanely dangerous and powerful being to even pose a threat, like Revya and/or Shadow Bolt. (See I'm not bias, I recognize power when I see it.)
