One thing i hate in pony writing is when the authors used foalish as ponyeese for foolish. fools are not called foals!
Foals are the term for children so foalish should be another way of saying childish....
To put it simply:
Foalish = foolish WRONG
Foalish= childish CORRECT
Foolish = foolish CORRECT
GET IT PEOPLE
So yeah I am tired and have been ranting about this all day...
I rant about the word flank.

Well Nightmare Moon used it as "fools" in the second episode, so I'm pretty sure it's up to the writer
Though I do get where you're coming from, since pretty much all words that are pony puns for the sake of pony puns (besides town names and such) are really annoying in general
