Things are very slow but I'm still trying to work on everything. This summer will be a break from college and all the stress, and so I can get back to my hobby of reading and writing. I've decided that also during that time, A Gray and Stormy Day will be removed and be getting a new tittle, two more characters added in, and a better plot for this (well it was supposed to be) one-shot. I feel that by adding Princess Twilight and Fluttershy to the story, I can make it more comical and longer to read.
Also to those reading this, I have a few questions about Twilight and Spike. What do you see their relation as? Do they seem like two best friends who are always sticking together? Or does seem more like Twilight acting like a mother to Spike? It's just a curious thing I sometimes wonder about the two, whether or not Twilight is like a single mother caring for him or just his best friend. And to add another question, do you see their relationship as platonic or something more?
They're not exactly FRIENDS per say, but spike is Twi's assistant and aquatence who are friendly with each other

Well, I do look forward to the next installment of "Trials of Starting a Family", whenever that is. As for Twilight's relationship with Spike, I'd say it's a platonic one.
I always considered them to be like a big Sister and little brother relationship. Spike always seems like he respects and cares alot about Twilight, but mocks her like a brother would and in turn Twilight teases him like a sibling.
For the other question, I don't ever see Spike in that kind of manner. He is from what I understand, like 5-8 years younger then Twilight. Not really sure what age she was when she did the test, but walking, talking, casting spells; I assume she was at youngest five. So that would make spike 5 years younger then her at least. Add in the fact that dragons mature slowly in this world, and I just can't see him as capable of a relationship atm. He's like the same age mental-wise as the cutie Mark Crusaders, even if he might be alot older than them. He just ages slower than a pony would. So yeah, don't see him and Twilight in any kind of relationship past being family members.

That's what they ARE in the show, I took all we know, not what they act like, all we know is spike is twilights p.a, the servant, the butler, the dobby. While may act siblingly we need to look at the facts, and that states spike is an assistant/aquatence, until writers reveal more

2128622 That's an interesting thought, I can see that! ^^ I couldn't begin to guess about his age though but he does seem to be sorta at the same maturity level as the crusaders.
2128983 I respect your opinion but I think you put it a little too lightly. How they interact with each other is a key part. There is little background on them but that he is her assistant is very certain. Considering what they've gone together and what's happened in a few episodes, I think aquatence is putting it too lightly.
But when you say facts, are you referring to what the writers tell people and release info?

No, it's what I mean is actually what they say in the show, honestly, the way they treat each other is what they choose to be, so they could totally be friends, or treat each other like family, but the fact still stands that very literally, all we can grasp is spike being the Personal Assistant
