Taking a Break, Starting on a Project · 1:33am May 16th, 2014
Yes, that's right, I'm taking a break from writing here on fimfiction, although I'm not taking a break from writing. That means no fics for a while? Yes. What am I doing instead? Well, something quite ambitious if you ask me. I've been tasked with turning the fic, My Roomate is a Vampire by the wonderful Dennis the Menace into a script for animation. You may have seen a little about this project a while back on Equestria Daily, if not here's the website. http://mriav.weebly.com/. It was originally to have multiple authors creating this script, but at the moment that's still up in the air. Last I discussed with the director, Rockon12709, it sounds like I will be doing the entire script, which I am more than happy to take on. I was asked just last week to be a part of this project and couldn't be more honored. I honestly had never read the fic, and still haven't finished it, yet, but it is certainly one of the best fics I have ever read. I will try my hardest and my best to do it the honor it deserves as a movie, and from what I've seen, I have a feeling the rest of the staff will as well. It will be quite some time before this is actually released, but I hope when that day comes you will all watch it. This coming fall, I am actually going to college for a field in digital media and design, which involves video games, animation, etc. and will be focusing on script writing. It is currently my plan for a future job. So this is a major stepping stone for me considering the fact that I have never actually worked on a real animation project before or wrote a script for one. I apologize for not providing you with fics, but I hope you understand what a big deal this is; and I hope you will enjoy the final outcome when that day comes
