I was checking some other MLP fan sites to see if I could post "A Total Eclipse of Their Hearts" elsewhere to boost its exposure, but after checking sites like "Equestria Daily", I was deeply disappointed. On EQ you can't post fics remotely involving sex, and most HiE stories seem to be frowned upon, thus my story would have no place there. Other sites have so many rules for being webpages with such lackluster designs and options. On here we have so many options...I love it! That is why I say, "Kudos," to Knightly and his great crew here on FIM fiction for allowing us to freely express ourselves (within reason) on this awesome site!
And while my pet project may not be as highly acclaimed as some fics on here, I still want to thank all 174 of you who have fav'd "A Total Eclipse of Their Hearts"! It's thanks to the views, the up-votes, comments and favs that I have the momentum to continue this story! Once I post this comment I will be resuming work on Chapter 7. Though like its predecessor, Chapter 6, I will not be promising its completion before I am satisfied with it. But I am confident that I will make significant headway on it over the next few days. What I have done presently I am pleased with and I have a mostly clear path for the flow of events in the chapter. In fact a last minute addition of some special events will help build on this chapter and make it even better! At least that's my hope!

I'd say you're better off not posting the story on EQD. I hear HiE isn't exactly one of the preferred fics over there. I don't prefer it myself, either, though I can understand why those who want to seek recognition would go to them.
But, like you said, that's why knighty is awesome, and so is FIMFiction.
and now you see why i don't like EqD. that and it's massive size crashes my computer.

Yeah after reading EQD rules, my fic seems to have no place on their site. Besides compared to the awesome lay-out of this site, I'm just gonna keep enjoying posting here! And as I said, I have readers like you who help keep me spurred on writing here!

I know what you mean. Their site bogs down my computer and often times out my web browser. Plus after surfing fics here, their fan fic section seems so generic compared to the great layout Knightly and his crew have setup here!
EqD makes my computer run sooooooooooooo slow! Oh, and their extremely strict rules on fan fiction.
Like you, I'm going to stay on this site for a while.
