Quick little blog; I have a question that's been on my mind a lot recently, and I'd like some honest opinions here, please.
Now, the people that read Black Dawn will probably know where the story is currently at; the Stalkers have all been captured by these "Bleakers", and are trying to fight their way out. This has been going on for four chapters, and the way it's planned, it'll be more. So I'm wondering.. Is it too drawn-out? Too much? I feel as if I've been lingering for too long on this part, but I really like to know what my readers think as well.
Once this whole part is finished, we'll be about half-way through the story, so there's still a lot more to come.
I've been a lazy writer with this story. Really lazy. For a while I just lost interest in it completely and almost gave it up. But I won't give it up; it's a story I want to tell, no matter what. I'm doing my best to keep on writing it, despite it going slow. I can only hope that the people that do enjoy it will stay with me. To stay with Lilly, Willow and the Stalkers until the end.
I really am thankful for those that read my stories, I really am. Even though I may not show it all the time, I truly am happy to have so many followers and friends here. Without you guys, I wouldn't be where I am today. Sappy, but true. So thank you. All of you.

I'm not sure, never really got a chance to read yet, but I will say that if you feel like something is being drawn out for too long, it probably is. You should trust your gut, man.
Now, I'm not saying it's currently too long right now, nor am i saying it will be. After all, I've seen some REALLY long arcs on fimfiction when I was an avid reader here, like SS&E "End of Ponies". He writes the longest chapters I've ever seen, and his arcs can still be long as hell, and they still work perfectly.
2115959 Yeah.. It's just that it's been four chapters, each chapter being around 2.000 words, constantly jumping between the main characters. It just feels a bit too.. fragmented, you know?
2117092 Yeah, it kinda does. Honestly that doesn't sound like an issue of length, just fragmentation. Maybe you could fit two chapters under one?
